Inspiring Creativity, Building Confidence, and Laying the Foundation for a STEM-Powered Generation
Today marks the beginning of something truly special at ATB Tech Hub — the launch of the 2025 Summer Kids Code Program, proudly powered by the Abiodun and Yinka Atobatele Foundation (AYAF).
As the doors opened this morning, the excitement was contagious. Young faces lit up with curiosity, laughter echoed through the halls, and the air buzzed with possibility. This is more than just a coding class — it’s a movement. A mission to empower young children with the skills, confidence, and mindset they need to thrive in a fast-changing, tech-driven world.

💡 A Purpose-Driven Program for Ages 6–12
The Summer Kids Code Program is designed for children aged 6 to 12 — those curious minds who love to ask “why?” and dream about building apps, robots, or games. The program introduces them to foundational programming tools such as Scratch, Blockly, Pictoblox and beginner-friendly platforms that blend education with play.
But it’s not just about coding. Through every challenge, team project, and hands-on activity, kids are learning how to:
- Think critically and solve problems
- Collaborate with peers
- Express creativity through digital storytelling
- Build resilience by trying, failing, and trying again
Whether it’s the thrill of animating their first character or the pride in solving a logic puzzle, each activity is carefully crafted to build both technical and life skills.

🧠 STEM Integration: Planting the Seeds of Lifelong Learning
What makes this year’s edition even more exciting is the integration of a full STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) syllabus into the program. We believe that real empowerment comes when children can see the connections between what they learn and how the world works.
From mini science experiments and engineering challenges to math-based games and tech explorations, our sessions aim to inspire wonder and encourage discovery.
And we’re not stopping there.

🌐 The Vision: Building a STEM Academy & Community
This program is the launchpad for a much bigger vision. AYAF is proud to announce the development of a STEM Academy and Community, a platform that will continue beyond summer to offer:
- Ongoing tech and STEM education throughout the year
- Access to mentors, instructors, and guest experts
- Community events, hackathons, and innovation showcases
- Resources for parents to support their kids’ tech journeys at home
By building this ecosystem, we are creating a sustainable space for growth, collaboration, and lifelong learning — a space where children can confidently pursue careers in technology, science, and innovation.

🏫 Why ATB Tech Hub?
ATB Tech Hub provides the ideal setting — a safe, inspiring, and well-equipped space where children can explore freely and learn without limits. The partnership between AYAF and ATB Tech Hub represents a shared commitment to youth empowerment, innovation, and community development.
Together, we are creating a model that can be replicated in communities across the region — ensuring that every child, regardless of background, has access to quality tech education.
