However, there is a glaring gender gap in the tech industry, particularly in developing countries like Nigeria. The <strong>&#8220;100 Girls in Tech&#8221;<\/strong> initiative, a collaboration between the <strong>Abiodun and Yinka Atobatele Foundation (AYAF)<\/strong>, the <strong>Rise to Inspire Initiative (RIA)<\/strong>, and supported by the <strong>US Consulate<\/strong>, seeks to change that.<\/p><p>This program is designed to empower 100 young women from Abeokuta with essential technology skills. Over six months, participants will receive hands-on training in web development, coding, data analytics, and digital marketing. They will also develop soft skills like communication, leadership, and teamwork \u2014 all crucial for excelling in today\u2019s tech-driven world.<\/p><p>By breaking down the barriers that often prevent women from entering the tech field, the &#8220;100 Girls in Tech&#8221; initiative not only aims to close the gender gap but also foster a generation of women ready to lead and innovate in the digital age.
